Allrounder Amanda

When you talk about Amanda Tapping, her role as "Sam Carter" always comes to mind at first. But Amanda cannot be reduced to the AirForce officer alone. And she's not just "Helen Magnus" from Sanctuary, either. Amanda Tapping has an extensive portfolio of roles in film, television, and theater.

Nobody would have thought that one of the most successful female directors was born in 2004 when she was allowed to direct an episode of Stargate SG-1 for the first time. Meanwhile, Amanda has successfully directed a number of films and series and made a name for herself in the industry. Particularly specializing in science fiction, it's no wonder she is dubbed the "Great Empress of SciFi".
